Marketing & Communications Manager

Description of the role

Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to leverage market insights and develop and implement marketing plans — including Social Media, PR, Search Engine Optimization, Online Reputation Management, Email marketing, etc. — to improve the agency’s and the CEO’s reach and position them.

Manage agencies or contractors required to generate compelling content, including articles, posts, e-mailers, images, videos, etc.

Pacing, reporting, and analysis of campaigns, utilizing insights for strategy refinement and budget optimizations.

Maintain and improve the online reputation of our agency across search engines, review websites such as Trust Pilot, Yelp, and more.

Look into the strategy, content and execution of media placements (PR) – articles and press releases – for our agency and the CEO in well-known news media outlets.

Manage search engine optimization for our agency brand, track performance, assess areas of improvement, review competitors’ SEO performance.

Identify and fuel new distribution channels to scale and amplify the agency’s and CEO’s marketing efforts (i.e. newsletter, Linkedin page, partnerships).

Optimize marketing activity based on results, identifying the right levels of investment behind successful marketing programs, content, and campaign performance.

Requirements

  • 4 – 5 years of marketing experience either as a client or on the agency side. This should include being able to run social media marketing and search engine campaigns, Public Relations, email marketing, and more
  • Familiarity with the digital marketing and public relations
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to execute and manage several marketing activities
  • Ability to analyse performance and tweak campaigns to meet objectives
  • Track record of achieving great results with ideas, rather than large budgets
  • Self-starter with demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, partnering with cross-functional teams, and problem-solving with limited oversight
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Compensation

  • In-hand salary: The range will be between INR 7.2 to 7.92 lacs per annum depending upon prior experience and prior CTC

Other details

  • Candidate has the flexibility to work from home or any location of their choice
  • Timings: 6:00 pm to 3:00 am IST (adjusted as per daylight savings) Monday to Friday
  • Industry: Public Relations, Internet, Online Media
  • Annually 22 leaves are provided apart from leaves on specific American public holidays
